In November
1999 ENAHPA's 28 founding members met in Detroit, Michigan.
Together, they agreed to improve opportunities for medical
education in Ethiopia by increasing the availability of and
access to educational materials and by volunteering one to two
weeks each year working in Ethiopian hospitals and clinics.
